Liverpool transfer news: Lionel Messi tells Barcelona to complete deal

LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah could be heading to Barcelona on the orders of Lionel Messi, it is claimed in Spain

The Egypt international has been tipped to head to La Liga in recent weeks following his stunning return to the Premier League.
Salah, 25, netted 44 goals in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp this season.
And according to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, Messi has told Barca to sign the Liverpool star over Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann.
The France international, who has been tipped to head to the Nou Camp this summer, revealed yesterday he is yet to make a decision on his future.
And Diario Gol say Messi wants Salah to sign for Barca should Griezmann fail to head to the Nou Camp
Former Liverpool playmaker Phillippe Coutinho has also backed Barca’s move for Salah this summer.
However, the Reds are demanding at leat £132m (€150m) for Salah.
Diario Gol add that Salah isn’t interesting in heading to Real Madrid in the coming weeks
The Egypt star is still said to be furious with Real defender Sergio Ramos after the Spain defender injured him in the Champions League final last month.
Salah, who has declared himself fit for the World Cup in Russia this summer following his shoulder injury, has been vocal on his Reds future, with the attacker revealing he’s happy at Anfield.
When asked if he will leave Liverpool, Salah told Egyptian TV channel ON ENT: “All that I can say is that I’m happy to be here and I’ve adapted to the prevailing atmosphere.”
