Oppo Find X Will be The Company’s First True Flagship in Years

Oppo’s flagship department has been silent lately. Most devices launched by the company in recent times were midrangers or “selfie-experts” that primarily focused on front cameras and moderate hardware.

That might change in the coming days, a leak suggests that Oppo is finally manufacturing its 2018 flagship, called the Find X, as part of its Find lineup.
Oppo’s previous flagship, Find 7, was launched back in 2014 and it will be succeeded by the upcoming Find X. The name has already been copyrighted, and the company teased the new moniker in a poster, shown below.
This an official promotional teaser, Oppo posted this on its social media account on the Chinese social network, Weibo.

Specifications?

For now, there’s not much we can say about the Find X’s specifications. Market trends and speculations suggest that a notched iPhone X-like aesthetic is highly likely, as even Xiaomi’s recent Mi 8 went with this design. Also, Oppo phones are usually focused on photography, another unofficial leak suggests that the Find X might have a triple camera set up on the rear, just like the Huawei P20 Pro.
Here’s a rumored image of the Oppo Find X,
Oppo Find 5 was among the first few smartphones to feature a Full HD display, and this lineup has always brought in flagship-grade features. Some of the specifications are rather obvious, a Snapdragon 845 processor paired with at least 6 GB RAM is highly likely.

Other than that, we can expect it to have AI features for photography and for the user interface. We will update you as soon as more information becomes available.
