Xiaomi has teased the Redmi 6 Pro in rendered images on its official Weibo page. The upcoming midranger is nearing its launch date, we already found out most of its specifications but the new reveal has confirmed its design.
The Redmi 6 has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, Redmi 6 Pro’s design was already leaked after some photos of a test unit surfaced online. This time, Xiaomi is sticking to a notch-free design for the base Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A variants, however, the higher end Redmi 6 Pro is getting a notched display.

The new images do look much better than what we had before, but these are merely renders and the real-life version might look and feel slightly different. Here’s what they look like,

Specifications

Even though these are press renders, it looks like the rear material finish is going to be some sort of metal alloy, probably aluminum. Other than that, there’s a Type-C connector on the bottom as well, due to this, Redmi 6 Pro might also come with fast charging technology.
It may be Qualcomm’s Quick Charge, as it’s already confirmed to have a Snapdragon 625 along with a 4000 mAh battery. Xiaomi revealed that their upcoming midranger will have AI-powered photography.
Surely, it will come with Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 10 firmware on top of Android Oreo, the new software is AI-powered and will add several advanced features to almost every Xiaomi smartphone.
